Kenny the bloke who uses them at your place is the biggest slogger known the man!!! He play's across the line to balls yorker length haha!!!

But when he hit's it it goes miles so for this reason the willow must be good considering he is about 85years old(well looks it) and I have also heard he is a millionaire.............

Ha he is quite old, but not quite 85! I agree thst he does like to put the ball to leg quite a bit and like you said when he catches it, it flies (another reason why I'm thinking if getting one). My only worrie as has been mentioned previously is the durability, although my mate must play nearly 70 matches a year. And yes he is very minted!!

Yeah he plays both sat and Sunday throughout the season, plays over 40s and 50s county cricket (XL) midweek, some club T20 matches and then spends sometime during the winter abroad playing cricket!

The joys of loving cricket and being minted!!

my advice is to go and pick up as many bats as you can and find the one that feels right for you.

nice stickers are nice, but the right pick up, balance, height and weight is much more important.

you could put tesco shampoo stickers on it, if it crunches the drives through the covers you'll be well pleased.

also, buy british there are oodles of good bat makers in this country, seek them out!
