Why have most of the brands gone with big brash colours ? not seen anything of the 2011 kit which has interested me.

Bold colours are in season at the moment too.

Kook, puma and goose are fairly bold. GM aren't imo, GN are becoming more bold. I dont think its a bad thing, and certainly seems to be "in" currently. But i do like a classy salix, newbery look at times :)

GN Kook Puma Mongoose are all very bold in my opinion and for the part about bold colours being in at the moment well that's a matter of opinion but what people think is in right now wont be come summer 2011, i much prefer the understated quality look in white cream silver etc etc !

The usual suspects are bold, the usual ones are subtle.

No huge brand strategy shifts and I wouldn't say most are bold or most are subtle.

Yeah kook have replaced their possibly only slightly subtle and classy range, the ice, with a very bold and bright one, the rogue!

Ive listed 4 out of say 5 companies who have the 2011 kit advertised and all in my opinion are bold and brash in terms of colours, some people love it others hate it that's the way the world works and I'm very much my own person and decide what i like or dislike. I'm certainly not one to listen to what people say is in etc and join the sheep que lol.

A lot of the guys like Adidas and Puma get advised by branding agencies such as WGSN as to what the fashions are and aren't.

Fashions aren't about opinions, they're manufactured by branding people

I know what i like and what i don't and I'm on about bold brash colours which i don't need a branding agency to advise me on what i think is bold and brash. I have heard all the comments about whats in and whats not in terms of fashion and in terms of colours and could list many many differing opinions from different fashion houses in regards to this. I worked in the fashion industry for over 10 years and the companies paying the most in sponsorship and advertising have the biggest say of whats hot and whats not.

The only nice new products for me are the new GM LE Gloves, the Vantage gear, the Mongoose gloves and the new GN bats (Oblivion and Legend), and I base that opinion purely on the quality of the product at first glance. Although I am sure the Salix/Bradbury softs will be top class again.

Like many Kookaburra fans I was disapponted to see the Ice range go, and can't see why either. I can't see how the CCX range possibly sold more of each gloves/pads or bats.
