no no no! CA is separate to Sports HQ. Sports HQ own Woodworm but have exclusivity rights for CA in europe. These are facts. The following are assumptions: Sports HQ got CA to make the Woodworm gear. CA in turn bought exclusivity rights for woodworm in pakistan and made their own versions. capiche?

The first players i saw using the ibat woodworms, were CA bats with woodworm stickers.

woodworm is owned by a guy in abu dhabi apparently,i play club with a guy who works there, and my old school coach, captain of bermuda dave hemp was sponsored by them so he was able to get cheap ca bats and cheap woodworm gear, which led me to believe that the sports hq was a banner for both the trading rights of woodworm and ca, not necessarily owning them ?

I once emailed them and they said that CA makes Woodworm plus when you go on CA's website you will see Woodworm banner there as well.

I have spoken and read few retailers on this forum saying they have seen Woodworm at CA factory.
Just because they've seen Woodworm at the CA factory and because Woodworm is distributed in Pakistan by CA doesn't mean everything is made by them.

Woodworm gear has also been spotted in Indian factories too.

Too complicated case of Woodworm and CA. Have tried figuring it out for months now but no luck. I guess I give up :(

Don't think the pads have d30, as GM have exclusivity for it in the cricket market. There are some on the forum with it but they are just concept pads i think

yes those were the ones i was referring to :) , so if they can break gm exclusivity then they should have a great al round range

I think GM have a contract with d30, so any other cricket products with d30 is breaking it and therefore can't be allowed.

I am sure Tom will know more about this

ahh ok, because ayrtek Tom said that they were approached by d30 when they were originally trying to get d30 into the cricket market
