Forum Best bowling of the Season
« on: August 26, 2010, 08:18:39 AM »

Tom has started a best batting, so given that I hardly bowl (but I do run in and try and bowl as fast as I can when I do - 65mph help yourself dross...) I thought I would start the forum best bowling of the season thread.

Full figures for your best match performance please, ie overs - maidens - runs - wickets

I nearly died at the end of it, spending the rest of it fielding backward point and deep mid-wicket made things all the worse!

First time I bowled seam in a game in 3 years, the first over was all extremly short quarter trackers, but I bounced somebody out, caugh top edge. Then got two reverse swining yorkers from my right arm around, got two wickets in 2 balls, leaving me on a hat rick, I bowled and missed the off stump by an inch,as the batsmen just swung like a madman, figues

Had a few 5 wicket hauls this year - happier with my economy rate of 2.50. Mickey mouse cricket though, so should have been much better than this

SS's 6 for 7 has set a good standard so far... although Tumo's 19over spell is a huge effort.

Best bowling of my life was earlier this season.

6-0-23-8

Just one of those days where it swung prodigiously and all the catches went to hand.

I suppose you lot all get nicks through to the keeper and stuff! I just get my lovely left arm orthodoxes slogged to deep-midwicket, where half the time they get shelled! 8fer is a ridiculous effort, I was happy with my Michelle! But well played mate, outstanding bowling no doubt!
