At the moment we have two nets which are both concrete with matting in each, the concrete isn't overly level so some balls bounce up around your head and some balls smash your toes, this is the direct opposite of our actual square. We have been training load son square and not using nets at all which we feel is tkaing its toll on the square. Therefore we have come up with two options for the new season, depending on what we could get for each cost etc wise.
1. New matting with shock absorba pad underneath (shockpads or whatever!) that you are meant to have in the concrete nets, this should make the concrete play slightly flatter with the extra layer between. Also needs the actual nets done properly.
2. The whole nets redone, frame is okay but would need relaying, matting with shock absorba (unless a non concrete option is available!) netting done etc etc
Just looking if anyone on here works for or knows of a company that can do this well! Last people we had were crap but then they were just builders that layed it! We are based in bristol if this info is needed. Or a company that sells the matting with shock absorba padding underneath...
Cheers
Sam
