I was looking for a T20 style bat. I wanted a bat that would give me bat speed, great pickup and chunky bits. So my thinking was they could take the wood from the shoulders and put it into the middle. I actually asked for TT shoulders but got somewhere between TT and Willowstix but I am more than happy with the final product. To me shoulders are redundant in bat design as they serve no real purpose except for looks.

looks very nice, i guess your right the shoulders of a bat dont really serve much of a purpose
hope you get on well with it
