In an academy match which Ed was captaining, i took a ball that missed off by about an inch and made a loud 'ooohhh' noise. The offensive batsman turns to me and says ''What's 'ohhhh' about?'' I dont reply. The next ball the bowler slips it down leg and i take the ball and remove the bails with the batsman nearly 6'' out of his ground. I then reply.

I think it has to be the ball that i bowled that pitched outside leg and swung so much that it hit top of off stump. It was an absloute cracker of a ball even if i do say so myself.

I play in the staffs league and we played on an awful wicket which resembled a badly kept allotment. It was at Rodbaston College.

Well If you pitched the ball just outside the righ handers off stump and just short of a good length one would get vicious bounce coupled with amazing in movement.  Took 6 that day and id never been called Brett Lee ever or since!! Not bad for a 60-65mph dibbly dobbler methinks lol.

Typical schoolboy banter...

Speaking of which, I also look back favourably on talking 'nickroe92' out of his wicket twice this summer when his team were looking set (as well as sledging him as batsman to keeper). Those wickets would be fairly far up my list!

There has been a few a full length dive, a sweep off the back of the bat diving low to a spinner and stumpings off both spinners and quicks, love them all! The best are the ones noone expects yoy to catch tho!

my bowling is pants!

my right arm everythings are terrible but in junior cricket, everyone has to bowl.

on the back of a lucky 2fer the week before, we were playing the reigning premiers.

i trundled in and some big fella knicked it through to the keeper, 2 overs later i bowled some poor bloke after it skided on a wet synthetic. next ball, i bowled their captain with a yorker. i was ecstatic.

hat trick ball was a no-ball :D

mine was in a league game where it had rained all night and we had to play on an artificial wicket, i bowled this guy a ball which was so wide it bounced on the grass beside the artificial, and the batter slapped it straight to point, i was so embarrassed!
