Fusion have a video of an England coach hitting it one handed in the air, stayed in the air for approx 7-8 seconds.

Pietersen also used one to hit a ball over the Media Centre at Lords. And now at every ground he goes out to the middle of the square to see how far he can hit a ball.

The ping of the Skyer is incredible the ball really flies and I only used an early prototype. When I went to Fusion they were talking bout the Snicker being difficult for people to put there hands in the right place and had one with a handle attatched to the board instead.

Tom do you know if theres a difference between the skyer with the wood and plastic and just the plastic?

Plastic? There is no plastic on a Skyer

Its a rubber type substance with excellent rebound qualities.

Well rubber but i didnt know what it was made out of so i just said plastic but is there a difference or not?

[Tom]

They're both made out of Wood and Rubber, just one has a flat back face. If anything the all orange bat will hit the ball further due to more wood behind it.

Saw the Skyer the day, Yorkshire U14's were using one.  I was thoroughly impressed, the coach was tapping it and it was staying hit for easily 5 secs.  Might have to see about one...
