Yeah same principle as the majority of the helmets on the market but with our unique shape of shell still being used. Few twists though to make it fit better than the other brands of helmet still which i cant reveal ;)

The first cricket box was used in 1874.  The first cricket helmet was introduced in 1974. So, it took 100 years for men to twig that their brains were also worth protecting.

Junior sized helmets?
I'm pretty sure there will be kids watching Warwickshire and
saying to their parents: Can I have one of those helmets??

And I'm sure you would get a little but more interest into your whole kit range? ;)

Junior sized helmet will be catered for by having one size of shell and 2 different thicknesses of wall on the liner to cover size S-L (52-57cm) and the (57-64cm) L-XL.

The liners can be taken out and swapped over once the Junior progresses to the next size liner saving on the cost of buying an entirely new helmet.....or at least that the thought process I have got at the moment ???

Any parents out there's views upon this would be welcomed as to if you think its a viable approach ???

E.g. Purchase a £40 helmet in size S-L then once they have outgrown that size a new liner is fitted in size L-XL for £15.00 to the shell you already have in order to avoid buying a new helmet altogether.

Roco...no nothing to do with that im hibernating as winter is coming ;)

It would be something I would look at as would save money long term what kind of shell would that be for £40

Full of them I am.....P.S thats a statement of invention if anyone else is thinking of ripping it off ;) haha

Just strikes me that instead of having loads of helmets binned off once they dont fit, having a shell that can be refurbished and a new liner fitted saves on wastage, money and keeps parents happy instead of having to buy another new product at full price ;)

Looking at a ABS (Plastic shell) @ £40 with the EPS liner i would think! ABS with ACIS @ £60 and so on

makes sense, if you dont mind me asking, are you finding there a need for the traditional helmet because the other one is seen as a bit too "radical"?

the new shape in designed with purpose in mind rather than to look different, the fact it doenst have a peak as such is becasue a 90 degree angle is going to stop a ball if hit rather than deflect it like ours is which would mean a bigger impact force.

the traditional shell was produced as the professionals asked us to look at it as a 2nd design, plus it opens up a larger % of the market as well to people who may see the helmet as too "radical" as you say. The traditional helmet will just broaden our range as such and offer different fitment to people who want a helmet to sit lower on their head.

Was interesting to get some feedback from the older generation who preferred the modern design to the traditional version!
