That is way harsh - Cook has scored 4 hundreds this year and is one of our leading run scorers - everyone found it touch against the moving ball this summer.

Plenty of people get on cooks back but his avg is good for an opener plus he gets runs but ugly runs where as a tresco got more flamboyant runs but I like him big big future ahead

Cook looks as assured as the Irish ecconomy at times!!! but you have got to hand it to him when he scores big he scores real big!!! justifiably in the side at the moment, consistancy is another key battle won by the England team where as the Aussies seem to be a side still in transition!!!!

Are you joking? Cook averages 45, and is still only 25! He has been a consistent performer, and a solid member of the team! I can never really remember a situation where he has had to make a career saving hundred other than the Oval Test vs Pakistan, however he has made several career defining hundreds....
