I have a Salix factory second or "Rogue". It's the best performing bat I've ever had. I highly recommend, if you are nearish them, you get to their workshop and see what they have in stock.

Alternatively, get hold of Andy (SAF), Gary (Redback) or Matt (H4L) and see what they can do for you as the reviews seem to be entirely positive.

A Rogue isn't a used bat.

Rogue us like a factory reject basically, same as other brands who has factory 2nds etc at a marked down price from their original grade. Could be wind damaged, iron stained etc which means they wouldn't go at full price

Sorry if this is off topic but I figured these bats are in a similar price range.

What would people recommend out of:
 - BAS Bow 20/20 or Shadow le
 - BDM Dynamic power super original
 - One of Asad's plain grade 1 bats

Any info to make my decision easier would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

I'd go for a solitaire bat every time - £100 for a grade one plus you can pick your profile etc.

Then spend the extra £50 on taking your lady out for a meal and she will forgive you for spending money on a "piece of wood"

Well it depends what weight you want and if you dont mind getting the same profile, £100 is good if you want a 2lb 12, but better bats out there for £20-£30 more in lighter weights if you look around imo :)
