There comes a point in all this where I'd say 'sod it, I'm going to use my vastly inferior 1 piece grade one handmade bat'
At the end of the day given the standard that most of us play, it wont make enough of a difference to be worth the cost. I have seen players smash 50's with Kashmire planks - in league first team cricket - and make 0 with a sponsored GN bat (he was a surrey player at the time)
