It's a nice dilemma yes but a pain aswell. I wanted something different, a bit spesh and considered a custom order, but then the Keeley bat was thrown in the works. I don't like the blue room stickers so it wouldn't have them on were I to order a pack bat. If have both if my balance would allow  :D but I have to choose just the one and it's killing me.

I imagine there is something youre not quite happy with re. the TK bat, as normally it would be a straight forward decision in my opinion.

Richard- there isn't an issue with the bat at all, I originally decided I wanted something a bit different/special hence the possible custom and large budget, but when this was thrown in the works I was stunned by the profile and the origin, who it was for etc. I know the bat will be very very good - too good for me  :) but there seems to be few Keeley pros around on here now I've looked. Obv this reflects the quality of the blades, but.... I'm torn. It's a hard choice as I've always fancied getting my hands on a pro's bat but also wondered what it'd be like to actually see my own bay being made and go through the process with the podshaver.

Tough decision. I've got a blue room new wave, grade a-1, knocked in by him. Stunning bat, great service. I've also got a bat off Mike, sachin profile but not made by keeley, but this bat is rediculous in size. I may do a review of the blue room if anyone is interested.

Simmy mate, i dont want to get a bat that i may want to sell on. no doubt if i was to buy the bat i would keep it!
its easy to say 'yeah mate jump at the pro bat' when your not paying for it lol
i would like a sachin bat but the weights are too much for my weedy arms to use

Its going to take Rob ages to sand your bat if you ask for a custom from him!

Ok guys I have forced myself to make a decision. With time running out on mikes offer and my head about to burst I have organised a date to see Mr Pack. I know some of you will disagree with that decision but I wanted something different, unique and it seems that many of the forum lads have a pro Keeley already. The date of the visit is 21/11 times to be confirmed by Robert.
I will be selecting my own cleft, discussing profile, weight etc and then watching him make the bat in his workshop! I'm sure a few will be interested in a detailed review of the bat and the day out to Northants.
