No. You are not thinking about the context of the game and intense determination he had in that knock- England were In a shocking position at that time and ge dug them out of it. He has performed at test level, though I concede he hasn't been as prolific against Australia, but then again not that many people are..however I shall leave you to your opinions- as people have said 'form is temporary, class is permanent': all I'm expressing are my opinions though. (which are shared by others too.)

:D
'form is temporary, class is permanent' I really love this quote, but in Bell's case - he isn't class, so it doesn't apply to him. Class is judged on performances vs the best sides, Bell often takes a duck against the best sides. Averaging millions vs Bangladesh isn't very classy!

Well that's your opinion but most of the cricketing world think bell is a class player that has just underperformed

AS I said, I'll leave you to your opinions: too tired to argue lol, though it's all friendly banter I know ;)

How long can one go on underperforming? ECB have hedged their bets with Bell, and by the age of 28, he's done little to prove them right. Between 28-32 is seen as a batsman's peak, so will Bell go from a joke into the next Ricky Ponting(he said he wanted to emulate Punter a few years ago) time is ticking....

Though it seems ok at first, I think your opinions are inciting more and more people. If one is better than ian bell, sure one can judge him, but were not, are we. I think we shouldn't be so judgmental and keep our opinions to ourselves a bit more (give the guy a chance lol!)

Remove runs vs Bang(whom have never beaten a full strength Test side) average is a mighty 37.55

i dont agree that bell is a joke ,even if im not his biggest fan, however i dont agree you have to be better than someone to judge them, for example Jedward probably sing better than me ............ but there still (No Swearing Please)  :D judging bell against other england players and even his own county standards he does often under perform at international level.

Ok maybe my point was slightly flawed, but i think the judgments are a bit harsh- that's just my opinions. Jeet: 37.6 is a solid average for a middle-order batsman anyway..,

You can only score against the attack put in front of you whether bang zim or ind it all counts or if do you feel a joke if you smack a poor bowler to the boundary feels
