As in evenly spaced grains, grains running directly down the bat, all the wood the same colour? Just my personal point of view if I was spending £300+ thats what I would expect.
They are better looking than the bat I am using but then looks arent everything.

Yeah I suppose it depends whether you value looks or performance. I imagine these are graded on performance first, and then looks. I agree they are not perfect visually, but one of them especially isn't wildly far from it. By those definitions, the only bat I have seen for about 5 years that is 'flawless' is rather famous on this forum, and these days would cost a grand to have made.
It is all relative, and after all, willow is natural, so straight lines and even gaps will be rare, because that isn't how nature works.
These are not perfect, but they are about as close to it as I've seen for a while.
