What do you reckon then? Gutted the last session was lost - I think they would have batted for another hour, and then had an hour bowling at the Aussies last night. What do they do now? I reckon of the first session, and then declare with a 350-400 lead

At least we have an earlier start tonight. England will declare 10 minutes before play and then they should run through the Aus line up as their heads are not in the right place at the moment. Also the tail starts at 8 and probably wont wag at all. I predict a tea time win on day 4 weather permitting

I think give it a hoyne for an hour, just to make them even more dejected. Anderson and Swann to rip the Aussies to pieces.

Just watched highlights of the last hour or so - Bell looks awesome

400 lead by lunch, declare and bowl them out. Swann's needs to bowl a big spell, Ponting may have to go crawling back to Hauritz or pick Smith instead as Doherty looks slightly lacking in Test cricket.

As Warne keeps saying on commentary, they've almost backed themselves into a corner with Doherty's selection now. Dropping him looks bad, but can they afford to keep on picking him?

Yeah that's true. I think I remember one of them saying punter should put his tail between his legs abd pick hauritz, but perhaps smith for his batting ability, though he too isn't the best spinner they've got.

As I said previously can only think they picked Doherty as turns it away from right hander rather than have tow off spinners in Hauritz & North.

Why dont Australia have Andrew Mcdonald  in the side. Decent batter at 8 and couldnt be much worse than the other seamers in the side....but as an England supporter I cant complain about the current Aus line up

Think swann will play a key role. He needs a couple of big spells.
