They won't catch us this time! Not this time! They haven't spotted us! No, they're all snoring in their bunks! Or, you know what? They're drinking at the bar, celebrating our sinking! Not yet, my friends. Not yet!

Right, England will bat for an hour and get 75+ runs and declare. Aussies will open well being 250-4 then collapse and England will win by and innings. :)

First session is massive tonight, Swann from one end rotate from the other, need at least two in the first session you would think...

I agree completely. If the weather is going to come in, those extra overs on a flat pitch will make no difference as taking wickets has been proven not to be straightforward.

However, the question always arises as to whether a slightly smaller target (say 300-325) gives a pschological advantage and causes the batsmen to play less sanely as they believe it is easier to get and therefore try too hard to chase it down, thereby handing the bowling team wickets.

same old negative tactics from england, if we needed to win this test to win the ashes we would have declared overnight, should have been no different here. hope this doesnt come back to haunt us.

100% agree

I dont think you realize how age can take toll, if warne rocked up and started  bowling at england he would be mauled and smashed, he hasnt played proper cricket and bowled a long spell of bowling for years, there is no chance of him coming back.

It might not be a bad thing, Broad has hardly set the world alight so far. My biggest fear is with Finn. Ok he got 6 for alot in the first match, but he is there to be a strike bowler, to cause discomfort to Australia. So far he has been expensive and got a few tail enders. Not really the desired job.

I disagree about Finn. He's caused major problems to Mike Hussey coming around the wicket who has easily been Australias best batsman and looks like a good prospect. Lets remember hes only 21 and playing in his 1st ashes series. Can only get better...

Wouldnt mind if Broad had to go, Tremlett would have to be the replacement or if its a square turner then play monty.
