England to take this test easily if they press home their advantage today!

haha thats made me laugh.....as with all things u got to be able to take it if your going to dish it out.....when ur backs against the wall moaning to the oppo captain was perhaps a release of frustration which he should have aimed/driected at his own teams poor perfromance with the bat.

I sense the end is nigh with Ponting!
Punter's slump has started effecting his side. He keeps backing Clarke and North, whom are both woefully out of nick.

Punter also seems to have set his sights on chasing down Tendulkar, as least when ever he's interviewed, he's still adamant he can catch Tendulkar. This kinda shows he's taken his eye of the ball. Also seems that his eyes are beginning to go. He's got more ducks this year, than he had in the previous 4 years!!!

as the captain u have to lead by example and rally ur troops. Once his head is down and hes moaning at things so petty as Anderson being a big meany u know we have broken him mentally...the golden duck was another poke in his ribs lol

personally i try not to get carried away with things as the game can very quickly swing back in the other direction.....we need to keep focused as a team and make sure we dont relax and think its won already

Whether India will be a real test depends on whether they can retain the services of Gary Kirsten, probably the best coach around. Kirsten has taken India to the next level.

On the note of coaches, isn't it funny that Greg Chappell joins Oz's ranks and they start to fall apart. Cricket Oz should've seen how woeful he was during his time as India coach.

You can tell Australia are under real pressure at the moment, lots of finger pointing and the blame game etc. Ponting's time as captain for me is over and should have been after the India series. Hes been very negative in this test match and had a huge role in the dropping of Hauritz, which has proved to be a huge mistake. I'd expect him to resign at the end of the series (providing england win) and retire completely. Interesting too that the vice-captain is under the fire too and may be dropped...

Could be the changing point of the series tonight, providing england bat, bat and bat until australia are well out of the game. Don't know whether to stay up as i'm working 8.30 tomorrow morning :(

I agree to an extent and hes a very good coach, but could it not be a case of he is coaching some of the worlds best players such as Tendulkar, Dravid and Laxman? Was very similar to John Buchanan with Australia as I reckon most could have coached that group through the 06 ashes...
