The first cricket box was used in 1874.  The first cricket helmet was introduced in 1974. So, it took 100 years for men to twig that their brains were also worth protecting.

Damn will have to come and play in your league lol

Our ball holds up ok shape and seam wise but still has a little swing in it after a while so always something in it for the bowlers

We have used surridge County grade balls in the COunty Minor leagues etc and Dukes, Surridge seemed to be soft and lose shape quickly. Dukes very good and swing/seem bowlers loved them.

We use Dukes in the WEPL. I have one here and will post a pic when I get round to it! Nice balls, they last ages. We keep them and use them in the nets and they keep their shape and shine nicely :)

Dukes county international. Great balls for all bowlers, and batsmen prefer it off the bat too.

A crap one!! Survives about 5 overs then resembles an 80 over ball! Played in that league last year but have moved on to Cherwell now. Where do you play?
