I thought the rule had changed, well it has in our leagues, that you can have a coach, who is overseas, and a player as well?

Will one be playing first team and one second? As in the MCCL only one non resident player is allowed to play per team...
I'm not sure. One might be having British Citizenship or something so we might have 2 in one team. I think its the ex-Bangladesh player who is a British citizen now, and we have a guy coming over from India. Both great batsmen. And another New Zealander who will be playing in the 2s ...strength in depth I guess...

I've heard of Wanstead the place, not the Cricket Club. Also I know that the Essex league is a very competitive one, and the top echelons play at a very high standard. Though ask Buzz and Canners1983, as I think they play in those leagues..

Aha, didn't realise Buzz was in a different league, as I thought they were quite close together...I did know that you were in Surrey, hence no mention for you unfortunately :( Still no luck on selling that Talisman btw mate?

Yes, some 15 year old kid moved the ball about 3 feet in the air and I simply couldn't get my bat anywhere near it.

Pesky, annoying, tricksy juniors.
