I suspect he will start in the 1st eleven straight away nice little read on Gloucestershire webpage
After playing with him for 5 years i can tell you nobody deserves it like him he only plays because he enjoys it
He bloody quick and moves the ball and is as tall as a bloody house...

There must be a PR stunt you can do - test his army helmet against an Ayrtek?

Depending on the Kevlar % it could be as that's what bulletproof vests are made out of

It probably won't be, but you could test the shock absorption or something against a cricket ball at 90mph. With before and after photos.
Or camo up an Ayrtek and send it off to Afghanistan...

That camo lid idea is awesome!
I can see why you've been as successful as you have been Tom

Yeh procricket wanted a camo lid back when we first spoke...bulletproof vests are loose layers which work as a net slow the bullet down I thought, havent looked into any great depth at military lids unless Dave has one hes allowed to show me and bring it next time we meet.
Not sure ours would ne bulletproof as it's less than 1mm thick on the shell does a bloody good job at protecting against a cricket ball though
