Couldn't care less
Stats don't mean everything.

Cook looks solid, Strauss easing his way back into things.

Scroll down a bit to click on the youtube link for Collingwood's catch - unbelievable. The man is a hero and for it to be Ponting makes it even sweeter!

Glenn McGrath has 2 FC 50's, is he better than James Anderson as a batsman who has neither?
Anderson may well have a couple for 50's by the time he retires though.

If someone with no shots like Dizzy Gillespie can score a double ton, there's hope for everyone.

On a side note, the decline of Ponting is very sad to witness. Once he was the most feared batsman around, I'd stay more feared than Hayden, Gilchrist, Sehwag, Gayle etc.

I wonder if he regrets not retiring after the WC2007?

The great thing in hitting is, not to be half-hearted about it; but when you make up your mind to hit, to do it as if the whole match depended upon that particular stroke.

he didn't look very comfortable against the short stuff to be honest. Maybe because with men out on the hook he couldn't go after it
