Well done tremlett fully justified the selection this will either be a good game and chase or a complete collapse I think

Anything could happen, still plenty of time left in the match...!

Not a hope I am afraid - cant bat on fast bouncy wickets!!  Still think we will win the series though...

Collingwood set up by the short one, caught at slip off Harris. Anderson should have taken the single on offer...

Looks as though the series should end up level.

This is a good batting surface that scorecard isnt justified by the pitch.
The aussies have the momentum now. one bad session in the first innings cost england the match.

Game on at the MCG. i love a contest.

This is very disappointing but it was on the cards since day 2 when we conceded a deficit. They've batted like they're playing on a minefield.

I haven't seen todays wickets yet, good balls or bad shots?

Game gone now, as it was yesterday, look forward to Melbourne. Harris bowled well but there were a few wickets where players played away from the body, Pietersen the biggest culprit.

Hussey is in such good form at the moment. Anyone think he is one of the best players of spin at the moment? Took swann to pieces yesterday and had control over all of our bowlers.

I've just seen KP's dismissal, if I was in the dressing room I would go over and slap him. Irresponsible shots, apart from Cook and Strauss I think everyone else could have left theirs.

Swann is struggling to find his length, combined with Hussey and Haddin using their feet makes bowling difficult. What's annoying is that England looked like they'd never seen swing and bounce before in the 1st innings.

I have tickets for day 2 and 3 of the MCG Boxing Day test and it is looking like it will be 1 a piece.

So all goes well for a tough battle but the English will enjoy the MCG deck a little more than the WACA unless the MCG curator can weave some magic LOL!!
