iv just done waynes MRF today as it happens...had a starting weight of 2.12 that he wanted down to a more manageable 2.8/9. Pics as per below.....









Ended up at 2.85 inc spiral, stickers and hammer edge sheet

I can't remember fully, but I'm sure someone suggested putting your bat in a warm place such as on your radiator to get any moisture out of your bat and dropping it's weight by a few ounces.

Not sure how good this would be for your bat if you took to much moisture out though.

This has been mentioned a few times - apparently Julian Millichamp has been known to do it - the downside is that it will reduce the life span of the bat.

cant remember what i charged wayne as it was part of the package price him, simmy and pro all got when they purchased their kit. Hope hes happy with it when he gets the chance to look at the pics :)

hmmmm would have to have a think as its not exactly a massive money spinner to be doing day in and day out....could be pursuaded depending on if i like whos asking lol

Quite a lot of weight to take away, is it still in one piece?

Think it's down at 2.85 now mate which Inc thick spiral, stickers and hammer edge was a bit lighter without as thought Wayne wanted it under 2.9 ???

Finally got to see the pic's Tom on sat morning (once i sobered up  :D)
Very impressed, looks lovely. Cant wait to get it now along with all the other gear.
