Excuse my ignorance Jon....I take it this is from Mike?

What's the weight and what was the damage if you don't mind me asking of course. Looks ridiculously good

Looks a nice stick was it worth the wait?

Plus what is with the toe seems odd?

The first cricket box was used in 1874.  The first cricket helmet was introduced in 1974. So, it took 100 years for men to twig that their brains were also worth protecting.

Yeh this is the delayed Goodwin bat. About 2'9 stickered and gripped. The thing that makes this a bit unusual is the huge edges yet total lack of concaving. I swear 10 years ago bats like this would weigh over 3 pounds.

Yeh this was me throwing together a backdrop and not worrying too much about the outcome. It will get a snowy photoshoot tomorrow.

God I've promised so many photos on here, must get my thumb out my (No Swearing Please).

Yeh this was £225, so certainly a top end price for a top end bat. No bargain of the century here. But you pay for what you get. About the price of a standard Newbery SPS.

Looks a very nice bat. Not sure how it can be compared to a chase without seeing profile pics though  ???

Do we know the reason why it was rejected by Goodwin?
