Had a chat with Nick and was told that the 'pro-handle' is their standard handle with an extra half grip at the bottom with a knobbly bit at the top which acts as a counter-balance... Still very expensive for what you can get on here in my eyes and wouldnt be prepared to fork out the money. Somebody else feel free to get one on here though... :D

Everyone in Norway seems to like buying very expensive sports gear, so at the club I trained with I've already seen an amplus (lovely looking bat and massive for 2'10, but not much value at that price) and loads of other beauties.

So a lump of plastic and half a grip for £50 more?

I see a marketing idea my dear batmakers...

Thats what went through my mind at the time. Fair play to them though as they have obviously got an audience of followers who will pay whatever. They get good reviews on here so must be doing something right...

Bit odd though that they can charge £350 for this, when they advertise their bespoke service for £320 and get exactly the same bat!! And you get the advantage of being there and see it being made.

The crazy/sad thing is I think they will sell more because it is £350, than they would if it was more in line with their other pricing. Basically, the thought process with buyers is 'ooh it costs more, it must be better, i'll get one.'

I'm sure it is lovely, but I smell a cynical marketing ploy.
