Different profiles for 2011
« on: January 09, 2011, 07:32:18 PM »

Evening Chaps and Chapesses

Were cosndiering introducing a 2nd option bat in terms of profile for this forthcoming season but havent decided which one as yet. We will be continuing with last years version but a second with a different position of middle would be useful we think to give you a wider option.

I have 3 bats to consider as such which ill upload a few pics of tomorrow, but thought i would throw oopen the floor to see what profile you would like to see first as it may help us decide ??? Eg.GT Profile from Newbery or equivilent model from other brands

Cheers

Tom

As much as seeing a GT shaped bat fills me with joy for the batmakers art, if you're only having 2 shapes I'd go for a mid and a low. May as well stick with the concaving, its what the kiddies like. No point going retro. For all the actual performance stats, an 'old' shaped bat is never going to sell well parked next to a 'new' shaped bat.

Blah blah one of these days I'll make myself believe I know what I'm talking about ;)

Yeah got 1 with a really low middle, 1 slightly higher and then our standard profile then one withour any concaving on it.

Looking for something that offer an alternative to our standard profile....as were not a specialist bat based brand we arent going to do 3/4 versions as we just want something that our loyal customers can purchase that offers them a high quality bat as well as matching the rest of their kit :D

All 4 bats are in the office so will whack up afew pics once im back in tomorrow so you can see the different profiles

Jon fear not something along those lines is in the mix

It is in the Legend section G2/3 (I was looking on the website and started at the "cheaper" £200 bats!!)

I admire your taste Buzz - Those two are right up my street!!

I honestly believe that people who aren't on this forum (normal people) aren't particularly fussy as long as the pick up's good and it doesn't look too stick-like.

Anything with lots of concaving and massive edges ;)

I still think the Premier profile of 2008 was really really nice!!!
