Always going to go down as a player that should have been a legend of the game and a true great, but never fulfilled his potential. Big shame really, still find it odd there were retirement rumours before the WC

Saying that, I wish I could do a fraction of what he has done!

From the selectors' point of view, no he would not. However, with Morgan out of the side, the only real six hitters we have left are Pietersen, and, well... Colly's not in form, so probably Bresnan! We need a reliable striker of the ball, or even an unreliable striker of the ball! Someone like Peter Trego, an all-round player who is better than Colly+Bopara+Wright with the ball, and a better striker of the ball than the last 2... And probably colly too!

we are missing one man...

FLINTOFF!

I always had high hopes for Graham Napier, but I think he must have upset someone.

On a different note
"Trott is nearing that 64-run mark which will take him level with Viv Richards and Kevin Pietersen as the quickest (in terms of matches) to 1000 ODI runs. He's also just changed his bat, had a choice of about 15..."

Clearly anther bat freak!

Nah, definitely not a chucker. Wonderfully clean action actually.

Buzz - Bowling not good enough, batting not consistent enough methinks!

Ireland will chase down around the 300 mark on this pitch.

I have a feeling that Joyce will score a big one against his old team

I am backing Ireland to win at this stage as they have quality batsmen all the way down to 8.

I dont think England have made enough use of this pitch and they are underestimating Ireland. If England do win then it will be by no more than 25 runs
