thanks 19reading87.

Mr. Cricket, i wasn't actually looking to buy a bat. plus its not easy to get good bats here in Singapore. but saw this with the SG distributor here and couldn't resist it at the asking price. according to him, he got the bats made in the same profile/weight that dravid used on the SA tour recently. don't know whether that is true but the bat is really light and taps up well with a mallet. need to oil it and knock it in.

WOW an absolute beauty mate! I have an ICE too and it goes so well! I hope this one goes as well as it looks because it looks incredible! Will you be doing a review after you use it?

I think Tom has an Ice 850 Mate.
But that bat looks nice! Personally I hate the specs sticker on the back, did a knocking in job on a Kook and took that off it, as it looks horrid and will peel off in a bit, so that could be worth considering, or take it off if it starts to peel.
Other than that general Kook moan, the bat looks lush and I hope it will perform well mate!

what is the weight of this bat. I found pressing is really good for Kookaburra bats.

Yep I have an 850! I find it unbelievably responsive and the middle is like a rocket! I love my Kooks!

The one I have is a big kahuna, a very nice bat, though the edges aren't huge, but it does respond very well to the mallet now :)

not a very big bat. edges around 32 mm. and the bat weight is 2' 8". this is one of the lower end models. was stickered as ICE 350 (i think its the range released in India). got this one for less than 75 GBP

finish is good. the thing i like is that the edges have been rounded and they have put some sort of bat wax on it. doesnt need much knocking in either as the guy told me that he gets them pressed for use straight away
