With only one more arrival expected in the immediate future (which shall be added when it arrives), these are the chosen ones to be first tested when nets start. Quite possibly the lineup will change several times before the season.

1. Salix Fera (see other thread)

2. Mjolnir SPS (2'11 but could pass for lighter). A bat that gives confidence.

3. Goodwin GT. Biggest bat I've ever seen, regardless of it's weight.

4. New Talisman stunner. 23 straight grains of intended-for-mystery-pro goodness. May hold this one back for a while.

5.H4L Hattori 5*. Will be used for at least the early season low bounce tracks.

How has the Salix Fera performed?.. looking to get hold of one.. could be 'the one'....

I had a Salix Fera performance which was a very nice bat indeed, went very well off the middle. I think I sold it to Peplow who may have sold it to PM7, so ask them and I'm sure they will share their views on it... :)
Salix generally make very solid bats though mate - you can hardly go wrong with them :D

No I didnt as I want keen on a bat that had more than 3 owners in such a short space of time.
They are great bats, Fera is not the top of the range but superb nevertheless and Johan and Sam will vouch for that

Out of curiosity, which one ended up getting 'match bat' status?

Fair enough Previn, can understand your reservations, though I sold it to Sam as I had too many bats and him likewise. :)
It was a top bat - you won't go wrong with Salux Praguetaz.. :D

An older model Salux, as far as I can remember, Rob.

It's ok mate, this place has got enough trolls, we don't need to feed another one.

I must admit though that his post does rank highly amongst the 'looky looky I'm mouthy but ignorant with it' theme. :D

A general term for a person who posts with an intention of upsetting or disrupting the normal ways of a forum. Bit like you and I to be honest :D

Dave, a troll is usually someone who joins an internet forum and tries to wind up/provoke responses around subjects people feel strongly about etc.

Basically, a timewasting bullshitter with nothing better to do than annoy people from the safety of a laptop.

I am sure you can spot them on this forum, you don't need to look very hard
