Hello,
I came across these on ebay and wondered if anyone knew about them or if they were decent?

Looks like a normal scuff to me
-
I just wondered if the price was too good to be true
-
they are terrible stay well clear.
-
The old saying then if it sounds too good to be true it probably isn't

they are terrible stay well clear.
I've got a couple, never had any problems with them! Maybe not as good as hammer sheets but still decent.
-
mine cracked very badly after not many uses, and just didnt really do a good job!

Maybe you got a bad one, or I've got a good one! Only got one on my bats, the other one isn't needed yet. Will be buying hammer sheets next time, just because everyone else seems to think they're class! ;)
-
yeah for an extra not very much i think you always may as well...
-
Hammer edge and poly-ugermaflip sheets are by far better quality than bat armour.
And even if they are slightly cheaper, we are talking about the best protection for a very expensive bat.
So the question I would have is, do you really want to save £2 and not protect your bat as well? ???
-
They are ok but for just a little more you can get a superior anti scuff sheet, check out Mr Talisman he normally has a good line in Scuff sheets at good prices!!!
-
Aye, but being a student you've gotta try and save some cash somewhere! And considering it's my inside edge that takes the most battering, my scuff sheet is in near perfect condition...
-
Yeah, I will have word with talisman. I was trying save money in every possible area at minute ha
-
Theres also a difference between cheaps branded scuff sheets which have cracked easily.
Local sports shop were selling branded @ £3 or helicopter scuff off the roll from Hunts for £5 worth the difference in my opinion.
Sorry Guys time was a factor when purchasing.
-
They are (No Swearing Please), crack easily and as this as paper.

The old saying then if it sounds too good to be true it probably isn't
thats a new saying mate!
-
get a chopper one from Romida but as Tumo says there not cheap.
-
Looked at romida only ones are £5 can't see another
-
I agree the Bat Armout is terrible and the Romida stuff is the way to go.
-
I have a little of the stuff on the roll left, pm me if you'd like some.
-
Are the £5 clear ones the ones everyone is talking about?
-
yes mate
-
Yes, but cheaper than £5....
-
Are the £5 clear ones the ones everyone is talking about?

they the ones?
-
yes there the chopper ones serious cricket do them as well
-
Are they the good ones? better than hammer edge?
-
each to there own i guess i prefer these ones to anything on the market other prefer hammer edge
-
I use both, the hammer edge are better if you want to soften the edges as you will apply fibre tape to do this, they are also a touch lighter.
-
Waht price for those Talisman?
-
It is based on quantity, the more you buy the cheaper it gets, £4 posted for one sheet.
