It is a 100 Over match so they will play all day tomorrow Liam, worth a trip, bring a seat....

This little chap looked good in the nets, only just 4 and despite his coach played a lot of attacking shots including off drives off the back foot....

But when Steve Rhodes told him he was a very good talent he explained that no one hit the stumps because he played straight, he then shadowed a few shots to prove this. I had to point out that he needed to impress Andy Hurry and so he ran off....

Post by: Liam-SCCC on March 25, 2011, 07:56:56 PM: Yeah, well played 2 hours of football on Wednesday in the sun, then beach cricket, then 2 hours of nets in the evening. Still feeling it and when I wake up my back is really stiff. So probably wouldn't have enjoyed driving up there!

Ended up having to go into school as well. Definitely going up for one of the first competitive matches though!

All of the somerset team just sit around so you can go talk to them!

Turned to go up the stairs with trescothick and his kids, I turned around and went down to let them come down. He said thanks and then I congratulated him on his hundred. I then joked that he shouldn't have changed bats (as he got out the ball after!) he said it was always the way!

I've got some nice sunburn from yesterday! Just on the left side of my body! I couldn't wear my pads today it hurt so much!
