Pffft, I score quicker. Nothing special
-
last 103 came off just 29 balls
-
24 in 1,2 and 3's. 35 balls for his boundaries. what was he doing with the other 70 odd balls! i call that slow lol :D
-
the T20 knock was something else watchin that live on TV, hes a top lad as well, he spent the winter in NZ i think with wellington ???
-
how on earth could you not have napier in engalnds t20 side :s
-
He has been injured of late. He has played some games on his way back for his club side (Colchester) and played a few 2's games for Essex.
Someone has told me he has trimmed down a bit this year to try and combat his back problems.
People also forget, he can bowl 90mph+
-
I saw Napier bowling live in Wellington 2 years ago and was surprised by how quick he was.
He also wasnt too tall but quite stocky. The Basin Reserve is one of the prettiest grounds by far.
-
essex through and through how is he not in the one day squad ?
-
Because he's not good enough, consistent enough, or fit enough. Other than that, I'd say he was a good bet.

Just about nailed it there! Just not good enough.
-
Two innings of note in a career is not usually grounds for an international call up.
-
Rather see him have a chance instead of continuing with Luke wright tho.
-
wonder if hes using the warsop! i saw one of his bats being made end of last year (No Swearing Please) massive

Good call, but then I'd rather see someone like Bopara get an extended run perhaps or bring Woakes back in. If Napier was 10 years younger, he'd be a 'one to watch', now he's a 'never filled his potential'.

sounds like some knock
up the Essex :)
-
Looking at the highlights on skysports earlier, i might be wrong, but i swear he was using morrants gear
-
I didn't look at his softs, however it didn't look like he was using a Warsop bat. Had a couple of large redish stickers on it from what I saw...
-
Just looked on google. It was a Warsop bat. Had the worse red stickers i have ever seen.

Top knock. Having said that Hamilton-Brown's played a blinder too!! :)

I'd rather see my dead gerbil playing instead of Luke Wright because the gerbil has more ability, not going to happen though.
-
Gerbil???...Hmmm interesting
