Got our AGM tomorrow and thinking about proposing some changes - so a bit of info for reference would be much appreciated chaps!
How much do you pay for club annual membership/match fees?
Annual: £25
Per Match:£2
-
£55 per year
£7 per match + teas are paid for separately :(
-
Equivalent to £65 annual and £6.50 per game
-
£50 a year and £8 per game. dont pay for away games if you drive - aslong as you take atleast 1 person or a car full of bags with you. if you just drive yourself you pay full wack.
-
£175 annual and £10-12 per game!
-
there was a massive topic on this subject not so long ago but the search function is failing me at the moment.
[edit: see here - http://custombats.co.uk/cbforum/index.php?topic=9118.0]
we pay £75 for subs which i pay in monthly DD payments of £6.25.
there are no match fees, and teas are a standard £3 per game as set by the league.
-
£50 for Membership and about a £5er per game inc lunch
-
£100 and £10 match fee.
£15 weekend match fees if you play saturday and sunday.
My first year as a non-student. sob.
-
£175 annual and £10-12 per game!
Are they trying to discourage the playing of cricket in your area?
-
€120 membership
€10 match
-
£8 for the first game, £7 thereafter. The extra £1 is the membership to the cricket club, though you do have to be a member of the sports and social club which is a £10 per year.
-
Number4, pretty much, we're in London though so I guess pitch hire, etc is more expensive
-
£50 for juniors and £10 per match while I'm still studying.
After that it's £70 or so and £15 per game :(
-
I suppose your fees over there aren't too bad as the council looks after the grounds don't they?
We have to look after our own pitches over here i.e Mow, roll, water, covers
-
I play for 2 clubs:
Saturday team : - £20 subs £6 per game
Sunday team : - £60 subs £5 per game + a heavy fine process ( currently deciding to wedge on playing for them or not....)
-
I paid £40 Membership and £7.50 (incl tea) per game last year
Not sure what I have to pay for my new club yet
-
£10 subs, £10 per match
-
£30 membership and £3 per game but I'm a junior.
£50 and £6 per game for seniors.
-
Things are a bit different down here in Cornwall. We are a Div 3 + Div 6 club.
I sit on the committee and we have just introduced membership fee's at great resistance. We have introduced them as we needed to otherwise our insurance wouldnt cover us. Personally i think they should have been introduced regardless. It is for the good of the club after all.
So our membership fee is £10 a year and £3 a game. As for teas each player is told what they need to bring to cover teas for the day, be it sandwiches, cake, fruit etc etc
-
£60 per year senior membership and £5 per match which includes teas
-
Think ours will be £80 + £10 subs incl tea
However will incl club shirt
-
£40 subs think £6 teas but not played first game yet
-
Saturdays: £60 subs, £10 per match
Sundays: £30 subs, £10 first 3 matches, £5 thereafter
-
Saturdays: £20 + £4 per match as a student
Sundays: No sub(If you are a member of the youth team which is £30 subs..) and then £2 per game..
Seems I'm getting a bargain compared to some of you lot..
-
£55 + £5 Per Game
Even included a new playing shirt!
-
£30 and £10 per game for me.
-
£50 membership including personalised number playing shirt and cap for new members or an item of kit for existing members.
£5 match fee including teas
-
Last season for me was AUD$480 and that included playing gear & club cap.
No individual match fees and you bring/buy your own food at the canteen or wherever.
-
£15 membership
£3.50 match fees on saturday (cheaper on sunday if you are playing both days)
The Joys of being a student

Senior Playing (over 17) £60 (£50 if paid before May 1st)
Occasional Senior Playing £25 (less than 6 games in 1 season)

Drivers are entitled to some petrol money for away games, but no-one takes it. Match fees cover teas!

We find the amnesty idea works very well, and gets us about 75% of our seniors subs in before the end of May, it also saves on spending a lot of time chasing everyone!
-
Seniors = £45 a year
Students = £25 a year
Juniors = £13 a year
Match fees for senior matches is officially £3.50. But the First team can't be bothered with 50p's so they pay £4 and the 2nd XI pay £3.
Over the last couple of years there have been massive issues getting players to pay their subs. To the extent that this year they've changed the club's rules to say that only people who have paid their subs can play, and apparently the committee have been very vocal to the 1st team captain. Whether it works it a different matter lol.
-

Niether do Canadians
-
£40 annually
£5 per game and £3.50 for the best teas in the league, absolutely outstanding
we are also required to arrange at least 1 match ball sponsor if possible (£25 , includes an advertising board and a free tea)
-
we start collecting subs in Jan and make it pretty clear nobody plays unless they have paid. In some cases if people are a little short of cash we give a bit of leeway but not for long and people soon get dropped. Had one lad last year who kept fobbing us off and making counter offers of what he thought he should pay ie. next to nothing, took a couple of weeks of no selection and he soon got the message. Rather have a team where everybody pays a fair share but aren't the greatest than a team of superstars who pay nothing.
