Random but with the new curved type box and more traditional type what do you prefer?
Myself used use the traditional one, now use curved one and find it better :)
-
What do you mean by curved versus traditional and have you searched for nutty buddy...
-
Just had a look at the nutty buddy, never seen that before, looks good some decent thinking gone into that!
By curved I mean:

I have both, use the Traditional more often with my Kookaburra shorts. Not a big fan of the curved style
-
I go for the traditional cereal box.
-
A big one?
-
In all seriousness, I use the traditional ones
-
I have the nutty buddy. No plans to test it like that though...
-
Curved for me... ;)
-
Traditional, but have heard the curved ones offer better protection. That nutty buddy looks mental, and a bit over the top.
-
Hmmm might have to give the nutty a go next season... :D
-
:)Curved for me
-
Well - if I carry on keeping then it may have to be the nuttybuddy for me to protect those eggs!
No plans for more kids, but I took a ball that stayed low right in the plums 2 games ago and I would rather be sure next time!! Needed a minute to recover!
-
Curved for me, using the Aero with aero shorts and P2 Strippers, barely notice you have it on and when I have been hit I haven't felt a thing! :) :)
-
Aero with Aero briefs, seem to be nice and snug
-
Shock doc for batting
None when I keep
-
go for a shock doctor!! they're amazing and take it from me i get hit in there alot and i don't feel half the pain i did with a traditional box
-
Faced an angry bowler yesterday. First he bounced me, then threw in a few body liners & finished the over off with one to the nuts & inner thigh. My trusted Slazi box took a fair brunt of it but still left me wincing & teary eyed.
Firstly, is this all in a days work for an opener or shall I go back to bat 6? ???
My main question is... What is the best box you can buy? Currently using a traditional but have no shape preference.
-
curved (kook big kahuna) for me with jockstrap
-
I got smacked in the box today from a fast bowler. Fair glad i was wearing a box
-
Aero box in aero cycling shorts, really comfy when batting, don't notice it's there at all.
Not sure when keeping wicket, rubs against my pubic region a it too much for comfort

What's the nutty buddy like Tim? Is it worth the (comparatively large) investment? And is it any good for keeping? I struggle with my box moving around in my Slaz shorts when I'm batting, leading to constant unsightly readjustments!

When I keep I wear bike shorts and then a jockstrap that hold the cup in place. It seems like overkill but it's been the most comfortable setup so far. I use an under armor cup but I've heard good things regarding shock doctor as well.

what's a box?

Tim loves it when you mention "comparatively Large" while talking about his box...
Oh curved for me.. the GN pro
-
i find that a curved box is a lot more comfy and less bulky than a traditional box
