Anyone got any idea where I can get one of these in the UK... they look very useful!
-
they must be pretty goood, seen sevaral keepers using them. i wouldnt mind one but are a little bit expensive
-
Yeah £140... Quite steep... nothing the student loans can't take care of...
-
i dont think il get one but if i did it would on be a p2
-
I wonder what the weight difference between the P1 and P2 is...
-
You pansies! Just do what I do to everyone, stand up to the stumps with just a gum shield in - even the quicks
-
Oh dea Timbo, oh dea.
-
it wont be 100 quids worth

is that 'cos you are well 'ard? i envy you

It's because I hate wearing helmets and it is some sort of protection! Yes - wicketkeeping hurts!
-
Yeah I agree with you Timbo, I hate wicketkeeping with a helmet on, it just saps your energy... I only wear a helmet when standing up to quicks, but if you are willing to take the risk then why not... I find it hard to overcome my natural urge to shut my eyes when standing up to quicks unless I have a helmet on

i played againest a guy yesterday who wore the p2. it looked very goood and tempted me into getting one, not sure if im going to though
-
After all I said before on this thread, yesterday I saw one of our fielders getting smashed in the face - pushed his teeth inwards and claret everywhere. It makes you think...... especially when you are 5ft away from the ball leaving the bat
In an ideal world I'd like to try the Aero faceguard, Gray (Hannibal) Nicolls faceshield and Masuri Keeping helmet to see if I can get on with any of them
-
I have a P2 used it last year and this, rate them highly. Much better then using helmet. I was after the p1 but none in UK at that point, but in hindsight pleased I didnt get the p1.

can you post some pictures please mate

Some pics of me in action with my P2 (the 1st pic is of a stumping in action!)
