From the minute I started, the bat I most wanted was an Uzi C6+ but at the time the price was huge, and I couldnt justify it. Its still a Bat that I really want to try, just waiting on one to appear and me not to miss it! Does anyone still use their old C6+ bat?

Yeh I saw it this morning, although never convinced when someone sell it as "pro"
Missed out on yours as I didnt see your thread until too late! I cursed a lot that day!

I do wonder if TK would make them as a one off! I wonder how a C6+ handled performance laminate would go like... I don't recall ever seeing one in the flesh, and if I did have one, I would probably use it, and keep repairing it until I was left with splinters! :-[
-
I tried to get TK to make me a shoulderless Uzi c6+ but it kept breaking the clefts apparently so I settled for just a shoudlerless UZI to this day I think should I have just gone C6+ and forget the UZI.
Alas I no longer have any contacts that talk to TK enough to convince him to give it another go!

Yes I can get you one Chad if you want one. Drop me an email and I van sort it for you.

Yes, I have one :) - a Navarone. It is very very good, but had to be re-handled once because the carbon core snapped, then again because the retaining pin had been left out. Unfortunately I don't like the feel of the handle any more as it has become thicker at the bottom for some reason. But
Question to ask is whether he still has the carbon core handles or not.

my mate Will has 2 Uzi c6+ bats. One got a bit of a battering from a so called friend and Kieron form Bulldog fixed it up. Still used for netting. The other he picked up off this forum a year or so back. They are rare and getting rarer all the time but my mate loves his.

Interesting, I know Will was after another one.

What a thing to do to me! The more I post on the forum, the less money I seem to have at the end of the month!

Are C6 handles by any mean thinner than standard ones?
-
dont the old puma ballistics use the same handle? can still get these quite easy
-
Im pretty sure the Puma Ballistic 6000 is the same handle and Aswani sells a few on Ebay at very good prices.
-
Yep - I have a Ballistic 6000 in my collection and it has the same handle - they go very well!
I used to have a C6 Uzi but sold it as never got round to trying it, but from what I hear, they are very responsive!
-
Had to bank on the Hosk having one
-
Hosk is the daddy . . . No doubt

Damn! Why does no one have one they want to part with!
-
I've had one of each. The C6+ weighed in just under three pounds and went like a train. The Ballistic I wasn't using do i sold. One thing I'd say about both is that the balance is a little odd due to their being so little weight in the handle.

Yeah, I would have suspected that with 3oz off the handle and added onto the blade. Was the handle pretty stiff on the C6+ Tim? I will probably get used to my Laver C-ten PB first before I even think of another carbon handle if that's the case!

I have a Uzi C6+, it's in pretty good as its my back up, has been back to Newbery last year for a refurb (now has SPS stickers as they didn't have any C6+ kicking about in Hove). I agree about the feel it is different and takes a while to get used to but so does the sound it makes is very different to a traditional bat - get some funny looks from the oposition very now and again.

Yes, there isn't a lot of whip...
