We be grateful for any feedback on the new website. The pictures will updated also.
All feedback gratefully received
blankbats
Minimal branding, optimal value for money.

Like the website, very professional and clean looking.
The picture on your special offers tab is misleading though. I assumed in the offer I'd get all that was shown in the picture, including 2 x bats and a helmet. Think you should only show in the pic what you intend to sell in the deal IMO.

A issue guys when viewing from a mobile

same issue with the nav wrapping on safari on a mac

Only issue I have is "Our bats are the best in every aspect from the handcrafting to the performance". Just sounds a little weird like "Our bats are better than your bats"
-
everyone ones on the our bats are the best in the world campaign at the moment haha
-
Every company says that Joseph ;)
Hardly going to have a strapline like "Average bats for average players, you might find something better, but these bats aren't cheap to buy in, and I need to pay the mortgage"
-
I'm waiting for "Local bats for local people..."

SillyShilly has got that already ;)

I understand that, just thought it could be better worded

Very nice mate, well done a good improvement on the last one,

A couple of thoughts.
Testimonials.
It looks bad if you have none so why not take that page down until you have three or four.
Bulk Buys
You use the phrase 'make a bit of money on the side'.
That sounds pretty shady and unprofessional.
Why not re-phrase to include a deal for clubs to save money instead.
Bulk Buys is a bit of a mixed message too. As you are technically using the white label model (not a criticism) you need to be one thing or another.
Pricing.
You state you offer G1 bats at the lowest price in the UK! I'd wager that with about 5 minutes of research you'd be proven wrong. You need to change that.
'Bats made by our master bat maker', again not strictly true.
Sorry to be a pedant, but you need to be legally sound to have credibility and not get sued
Apart from that it's pretty good.
Did you use a professional copywriter? If not, then for about £200 I could put you in touch with mine (my sites are getting a huge overhaul).
It's Ok, not amazing.
If you could get the graphics and pictures to leap out of the page as Matt @H4L does then it will be better.
I hope you don't mind the slight criticism. I know that these things are subjective and you may disagree, but that's why I love being an entrepreneur. You get to disrupt a market, shake it up and see what happens!
Good luck.

not yet mate, but if you have anything in mind give me a shout

I think the design of the site is pretty good. Easy to use, clean, and works fine on mobile devices as far as I can tell.
The gallery could use some description of what bat each picture is, and could use a slideshow style feature so that you dont have to close the picture each time.
Looks good though, keep at it!

Thank you gents for all your input, we will take all these suggestions on board.

I find it odd that under your 'Special Offers' page there's a picture that is wholly unrelated to the deal. It's quite confusing.
I would argue that you are in breach of 'The Code' (the British Code of Advertising, Sales Promotion and Direct Marketing) on various points that have been previously mentioned.
There are also some spelling and grammar issues that do nothing to add to the professionalism of the site. It sounds stupid, but poor spelling and grammar will harm your business.
EDIT - I would also considering investing in some proper product photography. The cut-out of your pads is poor and they look like they are tinged green. The rest of the images are grainy and low-res. Make the pictures the star of the site, that's what people are looking at after all.

Having had a quick look at the website, I echo the other comments made here, and will add:
Keep your pictures consistent. On the bats page you have three bats. Two with black backgrounds and one with a white background, and the first two pictures show the back, front and profile while the third just shows front and side. Makes the site look a little thrown together.
You taken photos of the bats with black handles against a black background. While a black background is nice, it means that there are times where the handle fades into it. You should really choose something that highlights both black and white handles.
Finally, the overall look and feel of the website. It doesn't feel like it has been put together professionally. The colour scheme doesn't reflect Blank Bats as described through the photos. Nearly all your pictures have a black sticker with a red logo, yet your website is black and dirty grey with great swathes of white and a funny wobbly grey logo. I get the feeling that you've tried to create a site using the "LE" colour combination, but instead of using chrome you've got dirty steel. It doesn't quite hang together for me.
-
There is a helmet pictured under Special Offers that doesnt seem to be included in the price?
Definately agree with Tim on having contrasting backgrounds and the dirty steel look is not as cool as chrome.
-
All blankbats are made from the finest clefts of English willow and are all hand-crafted in the UK by a specialist traditional bat-maker
Surely a cnc machine doesnt hand craft a bat and is not traditionalist??
-
Thanks guys, we will take those suggestions on board.
-
Glad to see you guys progressing with things, big improvement on the previous website
Few spelling mistakes but only to be expected where there's an Essex boy involved :D
Let me know if you need a testimonial or a review written

Looks quite similar to another site..

One final suggestion.
Before launching something it's great, and correct to get feedback, and the forum is full of the right kind of people.
Prior to the next launch, maybe consider having these discussions in private so that we, your customers, only see the end product and not the process by which you got there.
It doesn't look as if you are confident in yourself to ask for feedback post-launch and in public.
It's a big deal to show your customers the finished article only and not ask them to publicly shape it for you.
It may seem harsh, I'm sorry if I offend or rile you. It's meant in a constructive way.
I've done the same and now have conduct development away from prying eyes.
Good luck with the business.
You've got a lot of goodwill from the forum and that's a great thing.
Did I see there's an Essex boy involved? you'll be fine then!
