Any South West Londoners fancy a field trip to Paul's shop? It would be nice to meet a few faces, the only proviso being that we should try and buy something to make it worth Paul's while?
We Could:
All wear linen suits and wicking fabrics as it gets really hot in his shop
Hang about on the pavement outside, talking cricket to make it look like a West Indian Hairdressers
Go for a pint afterwards
Take lots of pictures
Persuade him to sign-write his window (thanks guys!)
Review the experience
(Paul doesn't have to come for the pint, as he may be spooked by such a high concentration of nerds in his shop!)

Im a north londoner but would definitely be up for this! Only took me about an hour to get to Pauls last time I went, and its definitely worth it! (Especially if we wait for his H4L order to arrive)
-
I'm in! I haven't bought anything from Paul's for a while, and mi sure there is something I need!
-
I'm in mate, would prefer an evening after work if Paul would accommodate us one evening as weekends are hard with playing.
Thanks
Chris

I'm thinking Friday afternoon off work actually men?
-
Friday 19th is good for me if that helps
-
Friday 19 sounds like it should be ok for me. About 4pm would be great or were we thinking earlier?
-
I will look at Friday 19th in my busy working diary.
Charlie - hows 19th with you?
Chris - a little earlier would be fairer on Paul, as he may not wish to open late after a hard week. I'll also need to to see if he is comfortable having us invade. Don't forget to raid your piggy-banks boys!

No worries I'm sure I can sneak away and not be noticed.

Yes! - I am that important to my organisation too :)
-
We should indeed check that Paul is ok with this first :D
-
I'm up for it but broke on the gear front. Maybe some aero cycling shorts.
-
You can buy some sweeties from his charity box!

Jamie, the H4L bats are already there in the shop waiting for you! The prices and weights are now viewable on our website too: http://www.itsjustcricket.co.uk/hell4leather-m50 (http://www.itsjustcricket.co.uk/hell4leather-m50)
Thanks for the suggestion, Fattus - I'll have you know that despite the West Indian hairdressers and pie and mash shop nearby, it's now a well-to-do area, with a nice new build development having opened up across the road since your last visit. of course, your presence will make it even more well-to-do though! ;)

:o must...refrain...from running to IJC tomorrow morning...

Shouldn't be a problem if I can get away from work!
-
I might be able to make this I down in the smoke for a little while soon
-
Well, i don't know Dave - you are suspiciously Northern - but we might let you in, as you won't take up much room in the shop.
-
Sounds a great idea mate - bit worried about 'the flourish' getting loose if you are trying bats though! That apart, I'm up for it.
-
Hahaha! I'll do mine outside on the pavement!
-
Are we still on for this next Friday?
-
I haven't done anything with it because I've been too busy at work, and i now won't be able to get the time off on Friday - but feel free to speak to Paul directly.
