South West Londoners Field Trip
« on: July 05, 2013, 08:00:19 PM »

Any South West Londoners fancy a field trip to Paul's shop? It would be nice to meet a few faces, the only proviso being that we should try and buy something to make it worth Paul's while?

We Could:

All wear linen suits and wicking fabrics as it gets really hot in his shop

Hang about on the pavement outside, talking cricket to make it look like a West Indian Hairdressers

Go for a pint afterwards

Take lots of pictures

Persuade him to sign-write his window (thanks guys!)

Review the experience

(Paul doesn't have to come for the pint, as he may be spooked by such a high concentration of nerds in his shop!)

Im a north londoner but would definitely be up for this! Only took me about an hour to get to Pauls last time I went, and its definitely worth it! (Especially if we wait for his H4L order to arrive)

I'm in mate, would prefer an evening after work if Paul would accommodate us one evening as weekends are hard with playing.

Thanks
Chris

Friday 19 sounds like it should be ok for me. About 4pm would be great or were we thinking earlier?

I will look at Friday 19th in my busy working diary.

Charlie - hows 19th with you?

Chris - a little earlier would be fairer on Paul, as he may not wish to open late after a hard week. I'll also need to to see if he is comfortable having us invade. Don't forget to raid your piggy-banks boys!

No worries I'm sure I can sneak away and not be noticed.

I'm up for it but broke on the gear front. Maybe some aero cycling shorts.

Jamie, the H4L bats are already there in the shop waiting for you! The prices and weights are now viewable on our website too: http://www.itsjustcricket.co.uk/hell4leather-m50

Thanks for the suggestion, Fattus - I'll have you know that despite the West Indian hairdressers and pie and mash shop nearby, it's now a well-to-do area, with a nice new build development having opened up across the road since your last visit.  of course, your presence will make it even more well-to-do though!  ;)
