Is an Ayrtek style on, in Notts green colour.
Did he always wear one like that, or is this a new thing?
-
Since Adidas now do the Ayrtek lids...

Nice to see the England boys picking up the Aditek gear. Also noticed that James Taylor wasn't wearing an Ayrtek today...
-
This is incredible news for Tom, congratulations mate. May many more come in future.
Not easy to bag a captain!!
-
As you can see with the tall Broad, he seems to be just a little excited and seems to be adjusting his helmet! ;)
But alas he went for the huge slog with the first ball he faced (which was the last ball of the iniings anyway) and missed a straight yorker! :(

He hasn't worn an Ayrtek for quite a while now, since he is now with Gray Nics, he wears their helmet, think it's been most of the season?
-
Shows how much attention I pay then :-[
-
Will KP wear one? What about sachin :-)
-
They have been seeded in India, Oz and a few other places so hopefully you will see them in the BBL shortly and India ;)
-
Tendulkar did not wear one in today's t20. Shame
-
I noticed broad had the one with the acis in .. is that for most of the pros ? or just a select few?
-
he has a RawTek one but were off to see a few counties shortly so will put both options to them and see what they prefer to use.
-
Ahh fair enough.. i have to say tom i was one of those people who massively doubted the ayrtek lids when they first come out and if i hadnt of got a cheaper one on here id probably still think the same.. but i have to admit how stupid i was .. The thing is incredible its borderline cheating it feels like you can see everything around you .. and its so much comfier than anything else i have ever worn.. have to say im officially an Ayrtekker.
-
Great to hear, alot of people make a snap judgement based upon the looks which we duly accept and embrace. The shape is geared towards the safety it provides which will become even more apparent once the new Bsi standard is published.
We realise if we and our retailers can educate people about the shape and we can get players who are looked upto (such as Broady) wearing them it will hopefully at least get people to try the products on and see the benefits for themselves.

Yeh its quality.. i knew the protection would be top class. but the thing that surprised me the most is the field of vision... i went in short leg late on in our game last week and had to swap to my ayrtek as with a masuri i just couldnt see anywhere near as much... Cant wait for the custom one to come through soon :P
-
And there was me thinking I was the top left hander with one of your helmets Tom!
Great stuff, I'm sure I remember reading Broady is a huge Haribo fan too so clearly has great taste ;)
-
Haha drop some in as I'm due to be catching up with him before he flies out to Oz...I'll be sure to pass a % of them on ;)
Ur still Bristols premier LH Ayrtekker still mate don't worry
-
Hmmm I wonder which ones he likes, will sort you out with some when I pick up the gloves mate
