Do they exist? Bought the standard size and are too big, thus need to sell and find small mens in left handed.
Any help gratefully recieved
-
I don't see them in the catalogue. They only have mens size.
-
I know, was hoping that was a mistake. Or at least that they did youths instead. Now I'm stuck with them, unless I can sell them. Tried to return them and they were having none of it

The MC1000 pads are good pads, very light and they do a small mens. Not traditional though.

Called fordhams this morning. Without the packaging it's a big fat no to a refund.

Can anyone in here who has them not give you their packaging?
-
That would be great, Fordham is low on smlh pads so need a refund and I can buy some elsewhere

To be fair to fordham sports these pads are now technically used and they have every right to not provide a full refund.
If you had tried them on in your house and not liked them, had proof of purchase and the original packaging then there would be no issue. The fact is you have worn then in a net and do not have the original packaging.
If this had been a forum sponsor retailer then there would have been no suggestion about someone else providing packaging, let alone someone offering. It's not fair to Fordham sports.
I suggest you pop them on eBay and take a few quid loss on the chin.

I absolutely agree. But having spent a great deal of money with them in the last 3 months I have asked them to reconsider. Looking at the pads I could easily claim I had tried them on at home but I would rather be honest as I believe in the long run these things come back to bite. It would be great if I could get hold of packaging and they accept them back but if not in will have to eBay them

Hi mate,
are they badly too big? Or just too big?
When I tried OSM, I pushed the pads down to fit and they curled a bit at the bottom..
If you can try that it may work as there isn't much of a difference between the two!
-
They are quite a bit too big, I normally wear pads low onto my boots anyway but the top of the pads it's still over my thigh pad. It's my own fault I should have tried them on first, it's pretty difficult to find small mens left handed pads anywhere now and fordham a have none at all so will need a refund to get some online

Quick update. after today's game was called off I decided to go down to fordhams and sort this out, I think they thought I would let it go after the few calls I made.
I went there prepared to swap for something comparable and they literally had nothing, I was offered ambi pads and questioned as to why they weren't suitable. After about and hour and half of attitude and muttering under the managers breath she finally gave me a full refund (through gritted teeth) this was presented by having my credit card and refund receipt thrown back at me and with a grunt.
I must stress I was not rude at any stage and was perfectly reasonable when offered alternatives, I refused a credit note as it was no use to me considering they had no stock of anything suitable. I understand that they did not have to refund me but having agreed to it and considering how much I have spent there over the past few years I would expect a degree of manners.
Anyway, sorted now as went straight down the road to romida and got a pair of impulse 950. In complete contradiction they could not have been friendlier and were full of advice as to which models were available dispute the shop being rammed when I got there. I know I was spending money rather than asking for some back but I have found the service good when returning faulty kit bought from them as we'll.
Rant over, dealt with now and never using fordham again

So in short the company giving you your money back weren't overly pleased, but the ones taking your money from you were incredibly helpful (as if trying to make a sale!)
Typical salesman haha ;)

Unhappy about giving money back doesn't even come close, she was outright rude from the start.
The fact that they offered my ambidextrous pads as an alternative and didn't seem to understand or appreciate why they weren't acceptable sums up the whole experience
-
She would have done much better to have told you no. They were used.

I would 100% have accepted that, I fully expected that and was pleasantly surprised that they looked to swap them out. It was once they didn't find anything she got involved and became really rude. I don't realy understand why as I didn't once demand a refund or give them a hard time for not having anything to swap for.
It has wound me up more since I have gotten home, done now though
-
all's well that ends well :)
-
Never understood why some sales staff have attitude when refunds have been agreed and they are required to hand you back your money surely it is in there interest to encourage your repeat business.

Enjoy the 950s. I got a pair from Asad couple of months back and I love them. Only 2 bad things about them is the straps are quite long and the material inside doesn't feel top notch. But hey, they cater for my needs and are dead comfy!
