Title: Bowling Machine Service
Post by: RichW on May 12, 2014, 09:34:17 AM: Our club has a bowling with is pretty old now.

We can't afford to get a new one but would be prepared to invest in a service and repairs.

The machine still works it's just a little erratic when directing the balls.

Does anyone know where we could get it serviced?

I think I paid about £72 for my last service as I had a module changed and a clean up

Was 25 years old. Less than £200+vat for electrics to be fixed and a lot of worn parts to be replaced!

Post by: ProCricketer1982 on May 12, 2014, 12:57:17 PM: depending on how much you use it it's worth getting it serviced properly at least every 3 years or so. Even if it's just a clean up etc. They are expensive bits of kit so have to be worth a bit of TLC.

THey are fast too (well, except in pre season when every club and his dog are suddenly remembering they own machines), usually drop mine off on a Monday morning and have it back by tues evening or weds morning

They are in two buildings and their 'stores' and where they build the new machines etc (the offices and workshop and net testing is in one bit) they have all the different parts stacked up.

What size? kids or adult?

I have spare kids ones but not adults. I think from memory they are only about £45 anyway for a new set

Ohhh. I'll see if I have some. Think I got a few spares the last time I went down there for free.
