Saw this on Twitter - kinda think it's cool.
Clarke shape too by the looks of it!

It's aimed at women, a bit like the Newbery Chic I suppose.

Not sure if it is slightly smaller/lighter like say an Academy sized bat.

Looks good though, we love a bit of pink.

Should I feel slightly embarrassed that I want it?!?

Not at all, I have plenty of pink bats. We make a point of stocking anything pink.

aren't Sapphire gems blue, rather than pink? bit of a confusing bat name if it's a blue gemstone

Sapphires come in a range of colours, including red/pink.

I believe there is a standard that needs to be met to be called a Ruby. The gem must be a certain shade of red/pink to be known as a Ruby. If it is too light it is referred to as a pink sapphire.

On closer inspection this bat is spelled "Sappheire" which is a Greek girls name, it appears to (fairly obviously) mean Sapphire but also has links to a biblical character who was killed by God for lying.
