It's aimed at women, a bit like the Newbery Chic I suppose.Not sure if it is slightly smaller/lighter like say an Academy sized bat.Looks good though, we love a bit of pink.
Not at all, I have plenty of pink bats. We make a point of stocking anything pink.
Sapphires come in a range of colours, including red/pink. I believe there is a standard that needs to be met to be called a Ruby. The gem must be a certain shade of red/pink to known as a Ruby. If it is too light it is referred to as a pink sapphire. On closer inspection this bat is spelled "Sappheire" which is a Greek girls name, it appears to (fairly obviously) mean Sapphire but also has links to a biblical character who was killed by God for lying.
