You might want to alter the url.... too many w's..

Also the images are very pixelised - something you may want to look at.

Looks nice and simple
WorldWide Shipping is 14.95gbp irrespective of type of item. That is a very good price for shipping. I know usually Pads and Bags cost a lot more to ship.

Andrew does indeed offer a great customer service but all sites look the same and for the money involved , I decided to pass and go with UZI's web developer.

Interesting.

The sites he has done for us are all different. None could be said to have a 'house style'. Just good sites and each completely different to the last.
He will build to order and doesn't use a funnel to give you one solution.

The problem I've found with a lot of retail sites is they are all on the same template, save a 10% variance. Uzi's site looks like most others.

The best is H4L. But that cost a few bob.

One can only see the obvious template that has been deployed.

For the coin gj , not a patch on what can be achieved. (which B&S have stated they are working on with haste)

Not value for money? Looks as good if not better than any other cricket website I've seen

There are a few pictures which need re doing but overall extremely happy with the work Andrew and his team have done the ease of using the site and up dating of it is top draw there are changes happening at B&S which will be good for all involved most importantly the End User keep watching the site with news and new products

Is it no longer possible to select individual, specific bats on your site?
Title: Re: Web Site

Not at all.
They don't use templates at all.

There is a house style, Andrew told me the other day, but everything is built ground-up.

If you saw the three sites they did for us you would understand. All different.

But the B&S site looks so similar to the designers site ( http://www.smarterwebcompany.co.uk/ (http://www.smarterwebcompany.co.uk/) )  you'd even assume they were related.

If it's not a template then there's a whole lot of C&P'ing of the html (or whatever the kids use these days) code  :D

Looks like a decent building block though. Once the content gets beefed up it should look great.  :)

Selection of individual bats will be available once we upgrade the way it will be displayed on the site .
New products may be added as soon as Friday keep watching

Yeah it's all the same code and js involved.

May I ask how much the service cost you? I'm a web designer myself and interests me what prices are like overseas etc.

Out of interest, how much would you charge?

The service received from Smarter web Company has been fantastic the jargon of templates files etc means nothing to me my requirement was a easy to use site with  as few clicks  possible needed to to source and pay for your goods IE keep it simple that I think has been achieved

Personally, I think the site is very pleasing to the eye and very easy to navigate. What more can you ask for?

Just finishing uni only done small frelance projects, so a bit different to the kinds of services provided by these bigger companies. Similar here though is about $500 AUD.

There's absolutely nothing wrong with re using their templates (they've made them to do it!) They've done a good job.

You reckon? If this has been done from scratch it would take 1 man at least a week to implement it fully. Contracting I can get £450 a day as a front-end dev/designer. I don't think the prices are unreasonable.

I charge £300 for a full ecommerce Wordpress based website for mates, but it's not from scratch. From the ground up I'd be wanting £2000+.

For the record I think it's a very nicely designed, site which meets the needs of B&S. It's perfect.

The site looks great except for a few of the images. Not sure about the .co.uk though, it says it's SA company on the about page.

I've tried all sort of web solutions and being a small company it's always been on a budget. Both my sites are now on shopify. It really is a great platform. The templates are mainly free and look good if not great. Full ecommerse solution which takes care of payments and processing and it's easy to make pages and add products.

Good to see you have continued in such a positive frame since joining the forum. Not sure how many posts have actually been anything but critical towards something or other.

You have already shared your view on the website, how it looks and the cost so is there any need to do i t again? Might be an idea to remove the chip and enjoy your time here.

I can vouch that the Smarter Web Coy build the sites from the ground up.
They do have some 'easy' sites which are very cheap, but the client completes a lengthy document outlining what they want ect ect.

The team are great. s I've said before, we've had a few sites from them and the service is first class. The first two in accordance to my design, and looked awful! So I let them run free with the current one, and it's amazing.

These guys work really hard to give the best service and a great price.
