Morning all
I recently bought myself a pair of gloves on eBay, and found the palms were slightly crunchy.
Because of this I haven't used them, but did keep hold of them for an "emergency".
Being the idiot I am, I had was told by a teammate to put hand cream on the palm of my gloves to keep them in decent condition longer. As I had nothing to lose, "as they were my "lend them out gloves", I gave it a go and to my surprise it worked!
I know this is blasphemy on this forum, but I thought some people might appreciate the tip to prolong the life of their kit, rather than having to replace it... :-[

Outside the palms seems to have done the job, will try and get some inside if they're still crunchy but they seemed to be okay on first inspection.
I just hope they're not slippery now as I don't want to send a bat flying... :-[
