Title: Fielding pads
Post by: Jaffa on January 30, 2016, 02:05:16 PM
What are the best (value) fielding pads / shin guards?

Options can include hockey gear and the like.

Me neither really. Used a thigh guard for 1 game and hated it. I felt to restricted. But to be honest fielding pads are a great idea but they're more like shin pads on us. Bit pointless

2 weeks, that's tame mate! ;)
I spent that in about 2 hours at Matt's workshop last week... (And that was me 'being sensible') :-[

It's easy really, live at home (nowhere cheaper than the hotel of Mum & Dad!) and sack of the missus as soon as she starts getting expensive. I've seen my bank balance get a lot healthier since I became single again!

Who needs a girlfriend anyway? My dog is a lot lower maintanance, loves me regardless of what time (or how pissed I am when) I get home on a Sunday afternoon, and there's no questions about why I don't come home after the game Saturday was rained off at 3pm...  :D

Haha i think throwing 6 years away (cant believe im saying this) is a bit silly for cricket! Ill look for a higher paid job instead! Not tell her anything then the extra money is all for cricket! Haha

I use the newbery test fielding/keeping pads they are very good I think I got them for £22, my only issue with them is that they itch so now I always wear a baselayer.

Hah I've joined this forum about 2 years ago, while I don't post anything I'm always stalking this place and since then I bought
1-b3 3strip
2- h4l warbird pro
3- h4l NV g2
4- and just bought a bb from IJC
As you can guess those are all excess supply so better strap in 400 is just the beginning  ;)

haha mate I'm now trying to justify another bat and some new whites already. Love this forum and the exclusive gear which is never ever have known about otherwise. Really like the look of the Nv which is my match bat for this season but thinking of a bb net bat or a cheap net bat which weighs a little more than my match bat x
