I own SS (LE), Slazenger V500 and Kookaburra Cadejo Players Bat and I like Slazenger V500 the most. I am looking for a cricket bat for T20 matches with the budget of $500-$700 USD. Could you please suggest a few? I looked at Laver & Wood T20 but not many seem to have preferred that.
Preference: Thick edges (> 38 mm), Weight: 2.10 & above.
Thanks

B3 crown grade...
-
Kippax Colossus Plus.
-
If you want a custom bat , then get a B3...u can customize s%$t out of it :)
Else, get a BAS .
-
David Warner replica from Meulemans in Perth if they have any left. For T20 the best bat I know.

For that kind of a budget, you can get an amazing bat. If you want instant performance, pick a CA, M&H or GN Warner replica. They all have big volume, nice big bows, and lot of power to help you hit big sixes this season.
If you want a bat to take long time to open up and not have a bow, there are plenty of other options.

No bow and take a long time to open up.

No bow and take a long time to open up.
Not my experience. Small bow, and the crowns ping amazingly from ball 1

Not used a crown but 3-stripes - no bow and meh performance.

There are tonns of options
You can buy handpicked newbery blitz from retailers here , or h4l custom or the latest Bb t20 bat
For $700 you can get gn made in aus Warner bat from stores in aus

Thanks, everyone...
Warner replica is out of stock. So is Kippax Colossus Plus (and, it looks huge, has anyone here tried this before?)
I see that many folks like H4L here. Any particular model if you'd have to recommend that brand?
Thanks

H4l warbird the popular model this year. Hattori has a long middle. They also do custom shape bat .
Checkout the Bb t20 bat too. Where are you located in USA?
-
I would highly recommend a B&S, just used my Supreme in the nets the other day, I'm horribly out of nick, but despite that, it absolutely rocketed! I believe the T20 bat is called the Scorch, and I'm sure Gary or Jake @Vitas Cricket have some lovely ones in that they could recommend. :) If it's not quite your cup of tea, I've had a really good experience with my Warbird too, which is an inch shorter blade.
-
+1 on all the H4L suggestions. I own a Hattori and a Hellfire and strongly considering going for a WarBird this year.
-
Yeh , one more vote to H4L . Go for custom option and I am sure Matt can make something to your requirement .

Since you are in the U.S. as well .... we can chip-in to buy this bat for $400 delivered. You play with it for a year and I will play with it in next year. We keep alternating.
I spoke to James Laver and the lightest he can make is 3 lbs

Definitely seems v similar to the dw replica, I believe Scottbat Meulemans will have them in this month, and he certainly knows a good bat.

USSZ Alpha 60mm edge & 67mm spine. The bat is a Rocket launcher. Used it last sunday and hit 3 effortless sixes.

That ussz bat doesn't even look like English willow.
What's the weight of this double cleft bat?

Thanks, everyone...

GN have Warners available, any of the specialist Australian retailers should be able to source you one.
-
It is english willow if u look closely it has 8 grains.. Not sure abt single or double cleft as this was given to me for a trial.
Felt like 2-12.
-
Sorry, 2.12 for that ??!!
Better get it framed mate instead of using it, it'll soon transform into sawdust.

There is a seller on EBAY USA site who sells these for US$600.00
The minimum weight is 2.12 lbs (and not 2 lbs 12 Oz)
-
get your self an Aldred Spectre butterfly one and donate the exra cash to a charity of your choice - phenomenal bats - crazy to spend 600 US on a bat -

^
Agree with the thought ... for that kind of money, I can get two bats with amazing performance!

Thanks for that Chad I was wondering when you were going to try it out

Get a custom made bat from Blank Bats (BB) and you will still save money.
