Please recommend a bat : ~ 600 USD budget
« on: May 02, 2016, 09:19:27 PM »

I own SS (LE), Slazenger V500 and Kookaburra Cadejo Players Bat and I like Slazenger V500 the most. I am looking for a cricket bat for T20 matches with the budget of $500-$700 USD. Could you please suggest a few? I looked at Laver & Wood T20 but not many seem to have preferred that.

Preference: Thick edges (> 38 mm), Weight: 2.10 & above.

Thanks

David Warner replica from Meulemans in Perth if they have any left. For T20 the best bat I know.

For that kind of a budget, you can get an amazing bat. If you want instant performance, pick a CA, M&H or GN Warner replica. They all have big volume, nice big bows, and lot of power to help you hit big sixes this season.

If you want a bat to take long time to open up and not have a bow, there are plenty of other options.

Not my experience. Small bow, and the crowns ping amazingly from ball 1

Thanks, everyone...

Warner replica is out of stock. So is Kippax Colossus Plus (and, it looks huge, has anyone here tried this before?)

I see that many folks like H4L here. Any particular model if you'd have to recommend that brand?

Thanks

H4l warbird the popular model this year. Hattori has a long middle. They also do custom shape bat .

Checkout the Bb t20 bat too. Where are you located in USA?

I would highly recommend a B&S, just used my Supreme in the nets the other day, I'm horribly out of nick, but despite that, it absolutely rocketed! I believe the T20 bat is called the Scorch, and I'm sure Gary or Jake @Vitas Cricket have some lovely ones in that they could recommend. :) If it's not quite your cup of tea, I've had a really good experience with my Warbird too, which is an inch shorter blade.

+1 on all the H4L suggestions. I own a Hattori and a Hellfire and strongly considering going for a WarBird this year.

Yeh ,  one more vote to H4L . Go for custom option and I am sure Matt can make something to your requirement .
